April - Health Awareness Month
Out & Equal is committed to serving the communities within our footprint. In the spirit of community involvement, we are joining in health awareness month throughout the month of April. The organizations below represent some but not all organizations available to the LGBTQA community in the Puget sound area.
Harborview Public Health Project
The STD (Sexually Transmitted Disease) Clinic is a Public Health-Seattle & King County service that provides confidential STD and HIV evaluation, screening, testing, treatment on a sliding fee basis.
The STD Clinic can be accessed either on a walk-in, first come first served basis, or by appointment. Call the clinic Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., for walk-in availability or an appointment.
Gay City Health Project promotes wellness in LGBTQ communities by providing health services, connecting people to resources, fostering arts, and building community. Gay City is the leading provider of HIV and STI testing in King County.
Ready to sign up for health insurance? We’ve got you covered. Out2Enroll works with local assisters across the country who are ready to support LGBT people and our families in signing up for health insurance. Seattle Counseling Services
Seattle Counseling Service is a community based organization that has been dedicated to promoting health and wellness within the LGBTQ community for 45 years. We are committed to providing accessible services, offering a sliding fee scale in addition to accepting Medicaid and many insurance plans.
Ingersoll Gender Center
Welcome to Ingersoll Gender Center! We're an organization based in Seattle that supports transgender people and gender variant people towards growth and well being.
